Parwaz Playhouse, the first major Pakistani-American Theatre Company in the U.S., proudly presents its premiere show, "Parwaz Playhouse Presents..." - a one-act play Glass by Imran Javaid and book reading by Children of Dust author Ali Eteraz - at the historic Nuyorican Poets Cafe. We will be showcasing theatre that is By Us, for Everyone. Parwaz Playhouse's creation was inspired by the hit play "The Domestic Crusaders" by Wajahat Ali. Co-founders Imran W. Sheikh and Imran Javaid, were both involved in the play which was covered by 2 Time Academy Award winner Emma Thompson, NY Times, NBC, BBC, WBAI, Newsweek, TIME magazine, etc.
