IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON NUYORICAN LOGO USE/TO ALL PROMOTERS & THEIR POSTER/FLYER DESIGNERS: You may use the Nuyorican logo in black or in white, on whatever backgrounds you want...but under no circumstances are you allowed to alter or change the logo. No color additions, no outlines, no changing proportion (making it wider or narrower to fit margins). It must be used exactly as you see it. The logo represents our visual identity, which we value, and we believe is of value to you since your show will happen here! NOTE that if you have altered it in any way, we reserve the right to not allow you to use your flyer for promotional purposes. Criteria for Website Promotion Submissions
1. DEADLINE FOR MONTHLY PROGRAM SUBMISSIONS: THE 22ND OF THE PRIOR MONTH. If your show goes up in April, for instance, you must have materials via email or dropped off at the Cafe by the March 22. There is no guarantee that your information will get up on the site if you submit it past the 22nd of any given month.
2. YOUR LISTING ON THE WEBSITE: THERE IS ROOM FOR NO MORE THAN 1 PARAGRAPH OF SHOW DESCRIPTION. Please double check the text you send for submission to the site. Make sure everything is spelled correctly, and that your date, time, admission is correct before you send it. We cut and paste text from emails or Word documents that are attached from emails only.
If there are errors on your email, there will be errors on your website listing. Please check in advance to ensure accuracy. The Cafe is not responsible for spelling errors or changes in your show that are beyond our control.
3. YOUR EVENT FLYER IN PDF FORMAT MAY NOT WORK ON THE WEB. In most cases, the web version of your flyer (which you will send as a PDF) will not read well on screen...small text will disappear since the web cannot work with high resolutions. Pull out the text you want and the photo(s) you want and send them separately in an email.
IF YOU WANT THE CAFE TO INCLUDE TEXT OR INFORMATION FROM YOUR FLYER, you must type that up separately, and either include it in an email or attach it as a Word document in an email. Do not embellish your Word document with colors or design the Word Document with different style fonts or different sized fonts...all text goes into the site as you see it.
4. REQUIREMENTS FOR WEBSITE PHOTOS:
Send JPG files that are not larger than 440 pixels (or about 6 inches across). These must be RGB and at 72dpi. If any of your photos require a caption, you must include it in a clearly noted email that accompanies the photos.
Send photos directly to: email@clareultimo.com but make sure date, time, and all pertinent information are clearly spelled out and included so that we can properly apply it to your show. Anything you leave out may not make it past the deadline.
5. IF YOUR SHOW IS AN ONGOING EVENT @ the Cafe, or if it is a Theatrical event which lasts more than one evening, you may submit additional photos and PR text to be posted but it must be submitted by the 22nd of the prior month of your show.
